3 – Tier Organizers

The tier organizer is not only great for can foods, or spices, but it also can be used for organizing any body lotions, perfumes, medications, vitamins, any arts and crafts, and so much more you can do with these. They are expandable so they can fit on your shelf. Some of them like the one below, has a rubbery top to it so the items you put on it wont shift. They come in solid white without the rubber topping, and bamboo. You can get them at Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target, Kmart, and some other stores. There are different kinds of these organizers available; like the 3 tier wire rack.

For the dog lovers

Dollar Tree has these trash bags that are lightly scented. You get 50 in a bag for just a $1. Yes, 50 of them. I love them! They work well when I walk my dog. They make great poop bags. I store them in a drawer were all my my pet supplies are for dog walking, so they don't take up much space. I love them! They come in pink and blue. I haven't seen white, although they do have them on the Dollar Tree website.

Novelty Shaped Pans

Now here is a great idea for Superbowl weekend, or even for just a sports night with family and friends. Okay, so I was checking out Micheal's Arts and Crafts and they have these amazing novelty shaped pans that is normally used for baking cakes, however, why couldn't you use it to bake a meatloaf?!    I personally have not tried it yet, however, I will be the next time I make meatloaf. It comes in all different shapes and sizes. Since meatloaf is good with almost any kind of sauce, it would be fun to use as part of décor on the loaf.

Reusable Bags

Before I have never used a reusable bag until I have received them as gifts. I now have an amazing beautiful collection of them I use when I go grocery shopping, and farmers market. I take one of the smaller bags I have and take my lunch in it for work. I use one of the bags for my knitting, I put my knitting needles and yarn in there with a patter book so when Im at an appointment I can knit, or read while I wait to be called. They are also good for children who stays over their family or friends house. The reusable bags come in all colors, patterns, and sizes, to where they make a nice added touch of décor if used properly such as a trash bag for your car. They even make awesome gifts for a house warming. You can put in some goodies inside the bag and tie a bow around it like a gift basket and give it away as a gift. Some ideas to put inside the bag could be a basket you can find at a dollar tree, with a homemade recipe in a mason jar, a personalized cookbook of some good recipes, a couple of kitchen towels, a shopping list pad with a pen, and what ever else you would like to add in. That way, they have a few things to get them started, their reusable bag they have for groceries, a basket they can use to keep their items organized, kitchen towels to start them off, one of your favorite recipes, a small cookbook of some helpful ideas for meals, as well as a pen and paper to do their shopping. Here are some of the reusable bags I use that I love.

Where I keep my bags organized.

This one comes with a mini version.

Bedding Terror

I don't know about you, but I sure don't like sleeping in my bed and waking up to a fitted sheet that has come off on a side or two of my mattress. Every morning I have to fix the sheet and it takes away some time during my day just to pull everything off and fixing it. So here is an experiment I have tried and has worked. I put my fitted sheet on my box spring and then placed a bed skirt over the box spring. So not only does this takes care of my fitted sheet problem, but it also keeps my bed skirt from moving around to much if the mattress happens to shift a little. On top of my bed, I use the flat sheet as my top sheet. I tuck in the top sheet and use that as my foundation of my bed. Another good tip to use in sheet, blankets, even comforters, is to buy a size larger than what your original size bed is. If you have a full size bed, I go up to a Queen when purchasing blankets, and comforters.

Jewelry for Decorating, Really?

One day, I was putting my flowers I bought from Safeway into a vase I had, which looks similar to the vase below, and I thought to myself, how I can add to the vase to help it look for beautified. I tried added in some of the colored rock pebbles from Micheal's which are great decorative piece to have in the house, but it just wasn't filling my need for what I was looking for. So I pulled out my jewelry box, and found a necklace I wrapped around the neck of the vase so the charm would be resting on the bigger portion of the vase. It looked amazing!!! I wish at the time, I would have taken a photo of it so I can share it with all of you, but this was a while back ago so I thought I wasn't going to be talking about my creative ideas on a blog. Also, what I have done was purchase a stretchy bracelet from the dollar tree, my favorite store, and I put that around the neck of a smaller vase. Again, it looks really nice. It dresses up the vase with the flowers. It adds in the perfect touch. You can get the bracelets at an Arts and Crafts store, Dollar Tree, Target, etc...

Inexpensive way to Pamper

I live by Dollar Tree which is my world! I like them because there are so many good products they offer to customers for just a dollar. I like to make a trip there and get creative for a low cost gift or even for myself. So this is what I came up with. I am using a candy jar I have purchased from Dollar Tree. I actually used this jar for Christmas Candy. Being that Christmas is over and I'm not a big candy eater, I have decided to use this jar as a bath spa jar for my bathroom. I like the size of this jar because when its time to refill the jar, I can always switch it up a little and put another kind of bath bead in there. However, there are so many sizes to choose from. So what I have done, was poured in some of the bath beads and added in some baby oil to it. I love how the baby oil helps to soften my skin. Plus when you open the jar, the aroma of the baby oil smells really nice. Its not heavy or to light of a scent. I would be careful to add in some baby oil to a scented bath bead as though it may take away from the scent of the bead.

I also found some pretty candle holders with some decorative rocks and two candles I choose for my bathroom. Its a nice way to save money but get the feel and look of what you want for your bathroom. I have always enjoyed the pampering feel I get when its my time to relax and prepare for my day. Its a calming place to help our bodies and mind to unwind while drinking a class of wine or hot green tea with soft music to listen to. All of these items only cost me $7.00.
